- Gezzzzzz, to have service like that. Don't get me wrong, My USR Courier Dual
- V.everything is a GREAT modem, but over the years of dealing with user's
- Customer support, it's been quite BAD! It took MONTHS for both Daughterboard
- Upgrades, even though I sent money orders, I've sent my modem in to be fixed,
- problem with the second Daughtercard I had, and when I got it back, I had the
- older daughtercard in it! That took a few weeks to correct, even though I had
- shipped it 2nd day Air. FLashROM Install Screwed up on me, and I couldn't
- correct the problem, and usr couldn't help me over the phone, so I had to send
- it to them to be fixed, that was another couple weeks, shipping 2nd day Air.
- The 5 or so times I've called them on there 800 Number, I've had to wait for
- over 30 mins at least, I have a Hour Lunch, so I would call then, I would
- them Wait and Wait and Wait on Hold that I'd just finally have to hang up and
- try the following day because I had to get back to work.

- This is just some of it. My old 14.4K HST was Great! i never had 1 problem
- with it, I bought it USED, and I used for for around 3 years for my BBS!
- Never had to call USR for anything on that modem(Thank god!) If USR had at
- least GOOD Customer Support, (well it's Good if you can acually WAIT around
- for a real person to answer the phone). USR is not the only company that's
- like that, some I deal with though are GREAT! Better then Great. The Answr
- the phone right away, Help you out. One Company I just dealt with, I screwed a
- piece up on a New SCSI Card I bought, I called them up, and there sending me a
- new piece free of charge. Now thats Great service for a product you sell.
- I'd just like USR to get in the GOOD range.

- While others have pretty good service, then then there's though FEW that have
- GREAT service. You seem to be one in the Great service. I can only hope that
- will be me the next time I have to deal with USR!
